Financial Seminars

Money in handDue to economic hard times, more and more believers and unbelievers alike are looking for answers.  We highly recommend putting adds in your local paper to advertise this event.  Often those who do not even know the Lord will come looking for answers when we advertise that we are offering solutions to the problems of life that many are struggling with.

This seminar is a three or four part seminar that is usually done on a Friday evening and all day Saturday, although another combination of dates could be arranged.

The teaching is based around the principal that God wants to bless His children and pour out a river of prosperity, but there are things in our life that get in the way of blessing.  In fact, it is as though we have built a dam that has blocked the flow.  While this teaching may not be exhaustive it is an intense and cleansing teaching that really equips the body of Christ to deal with their present financial situations and move forward bearing good fruit and bringing glory to their Lord in their finances.  We also use and promote books written by Earl Pitts and Clive Pick during the training.

The key scripture is “Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom.  For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”  Luke 6:38

During the training we learn about 12 blocks that stop the flow from heaven, and we teach the believer how to blow those blocks out of the water and walk into financial victory.  The 12 blocks are:

1.  Not working in a diligent manner.

- Hard working and working smart.

2.  Not tithing.

- Exploring the difference between being a sometimes tither and tithing.

- Malachi 3

- The blessing that comes on every believer.

3.  Not sowing financially beyond the tithe.

- The difference between sowing and tithing.

- How sowing brings a 30, 60 and 100 times return.

- What is good ground?

4.  Being overwhelmed by debt.

- Definition of the spirit of Mammon, how to identify it in your life, and how to overcome it.

- How and why one should step up to the plate on old debts.

- Budgeting.

- How to avoid new debts.

5.  Having a spirit of Poverty.

- How to identify this spirit and how to overcome it.

6.  Bad attitudes and habits that destroy us.

- Lack of gratitude.

- Negativity.

- Lack.  “There is never enough!”

- Addictions that make something else our god.

7.  Having a lack of discipline.

- In work ethic, or getting up on time.

- Not reading the Bible, praying or studying God’s Word on the subject of finances.

8.  Being wasteful, greedy, or selfish.

9.  Disobeying the Word of God.

- Examining Deuteronomy 28.

- The effects of disobedience vs obedience.

10. Not declaring the promises of God.

- What are the promises? What does the Word say about the believer financially?

- How to declare those promises.

11. Not owning land, businesses or houses.

- Having fire escape mentality.  “We are all going out in the rapture, so why concern ourselves with college for our kids, or owning property.”  This mentality has kept the church poor, and it is anti-scriptural.

- God told the Israelites to take possession of the land.

12. Not understanding the principle of multiplying talents.

- A close examination of Matthew 25 shows us that God desires us to multiply finances as well as in every other area of our lives.

- It takes finances to spread the gospel.  This is why every believer is blessed to be a blessing wherever they go.

The Overcoming Financial Crisis Seminar is a free seminar.  Pastor Kerry or one of her team members is available to come.  We would ask that you would cover the costs of travel and accommodations.  Our team members are willing to be billeted as long as the home is clean and peaceful enough to retreat for prayer.

We do receive a love offering during two of the three sessions and we also have books, CDs, and other training materials available to equip the saints.
